Netherlands: Innovative cooling and heating technique for orchid nursery

In Nieuwaal, Netherlands, Certhon realises the complete installation of the cooling and heating system for a new greenhouse project. The nearly three and half hectare greenhouse project of orchid nursery ‘t Hoog Bos will be equipped with JSK coolers (under bench coolers), LBK (air treatment units), a cooling tower and a cold storage tank. Mounting of the upper- and under heating system in the greenhouse is on schedule. The boiler has been installed and will be connected shortly. Work is underway on the connection of the CHP plant with the existing heat storage tank. Moreover the technical area including the irrigation pump room has been provided with floor heating, as well as the packing and all concrete path ways in the greenhouse.
