FloraHolland launches Community app for Iphone, Ipad and iPod

The FloraHolland Community app for members can now be downloaded for free. With this app you have easy access to the Community at any time and from any location, simply using your smartphone or tablet. So also when you're away from your desktop computer, for instance at work in the greenhouse. The push messages ensure that you are notified immediately of any news on the Community. In this way, the Community helps keep you up to date on all events and developments concerning our cooperative and your product group.

At present the app is only available for Apple devices. To download the app:

  1. Use your Iphone or Ipad to surf to www.floraholland.com/community
  2. Log in using your My FloraHolland account
  3. Download the app
  4. Log in once again using your My FloraHolland account

(From now on you won't need to log in anymore once you start the app.)

"Just like Facebook and Twitter, I now have the Community-app permanently open on my Iphone"

"I have been using the Community-app for a few days now, and I'm really happy with it. The app is very user-friendly. In my capacity as FPC member Calla and Advisory Committee member, I want to monitor a number of conversations on the Community, and the app makes this very easy to do. For instance, as member of the sounding board group I am closely monitoring the debate about the administrative structure. A push message gives me an immediate overview of new reactions on the Community. Previously it used to take more time to go from my computer to the Community, so I didn't just pop over to view a conversation. The app gives me peace of mind, since I am assured of being notified directly of what people are saying. Just like Facebook and Twitter, I now have the Community-app permanently open on my Iphone," says Rob Geerlings of G. Geerlings en Zonen.
