Swirskii predatory mite ideal to fight young larvea of thrips, whitefly

Dutch grower Barendse DC cultivates peppers on more than 18 hectares. Under the guidance of Koppert Biological Systems, the company is now working with integrated pest management. Part of this is the use of the swirskii predatory mite against young larvae of various thrips species and the eggs and larvae of the whitefly. The Dutch sister website of HortiDaily.com made an English subtitled video report, wherein head grower Marcel van der Loos talks about the importance of swirskii in integrated pest management.

Swirski-Mite, the brand name of the swirskii mite, is applicable in pepper, cucumber, eggplant, gerbera and rose.
