Zucchini and eggplant
The price and production decline are characteristic to the zucchini and eggplant around this time, with on average € 0.48 / kg and 0.27 € / kg.
The zucchini is exported to Europe and rising in price due to the decrease in production in Central Europe. The aubergines fluctuate in price because of the quality and the confluence of the harvest periods.
Beans
The string bean and haricot have been marked down to 1.32 and 1.67 / kg respectively. Morocco and Kenya compete significantly with the Spanish bean. The harvest of greenhouse beans ended in Almeria and Granada, but on the East coast, this crop is somewhat delayed.
Markets
Europe buys mainly Dutch horticultural products. A significant amount of aubergines and courgettes come from Spain.
