The FertiMix-Go! unit was developed after the company received many requests for an affordable and simpler version of their standard FertiMix units. "We developed a more simple unit, which has become a real plug and play installation, hence it's name: GO!", said Arjen Janmaat from HortiMax. "It is a stand alone standard mixing tank unit with EC and PH monitor control sensors, a 10 m3 capacity pump, 32 valves. It also can be installed with an Acid dosing pump, and extra options like light control sensors, all for an affordable price. The FertiMiX-Go! comes standard with a controller and is easy to operate from the unit with simple push button and rotary knob controls. If the FertiMiX-Go! is used in operations with multiple fertigation units, the controllers can be replaced by a single process computer, such as the HortiMaX CX500.

The unit can be the first the step into irrigation automation for growers in upcoming markets like Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, China or India. "With the FertiMix-Go! "The grower can automatically program the water gift, the amount of water per valve. He can control the PH automatically, and also the starting time can be programmed or calculated by the unit according to the amount of radiation on a day. The unit can even come with an additional EC and PH sensor, so the grower is also secure that he will get the right water in the greenhouse.

The FertiMix-Go! unit is being well received after its introduction into the Asian market. "It will be commercially available from the 1st august", said Janmaat. "We have already got several serious buyers from all over the world. At the HortiAsia trade show in Bangkok, visitors were eager to learn more about the unit. I think this will be a good unit that will fulfill a certain need in these markets.
