Germany: Rain damage is threatening German vegetable harvest

After a long and cold period, the German vegetable harvest was weeks behind. Now much of the growing regions are under water. According to German vegetable trader Hans Josef Berdin, vegetables this season will be scarce and expensive. In this video the exporter tells France that he has had to disappoint many customers. He has found a way to remedy this, just don't answer the phone. In this report, spring onion grower Christian Günther estimates 20,000 Euro damage to his grounds.
