Nunhhem's Vicente Navarro appointed Chairman of ISF’s Vegetable & Ornamental Crop Section Board

Vincente Navarro is the new chairman of the Vegetable & Ornamental Crop Section Board of the International Seed Federation (ISF). This was announced yesterday at the World Seed Congress in Athens, Greece.

Navarro is Managing Director of Strategy & Staff at Nunhems, the vegetable seed business of Bayer CropScience. He takes over the section’s board chairman position from Anton van Doornmalen, former sales director and still co-owner of Rijk Zwaan.

“I am honored to accept this new assignment,” said Navarro. “Our industry is heading for a bright future, but it’s not without challenges. It is important that we stand and work together towards solid operational and legal standards, and I am looking forward to contributing my share to this.”
