"Grodan seminars "Precision Growing" successful"
The seminars were well attended and growers have responded enthusiastically to the presentation and lively discussions on Precision Growing. The conscious direction of climate, crop and root environment and the interaction between these three factors raised many questions, but growers have received a clear answer on how to better deal with weather transitions and major crop changes. The substrate functionalities, re-saturation and irrigation efficiency have been discussed extensively.
The second part of the seminar highlighted the role that the Grodan substrate solution plays in sustainable business. Grodan sees it as its task to actively pursue a better environment, now and in the future. This is reflected in the sustainable production of wool, ecological cultivation and recycling. This is an essential part of the overall positive message that the Dutch horticulture can bring to the fore and with which horticulture can clearly differentiate to its customers.
