Pesticide residues found in Greece, Combodian and Malaysian produce

The Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed (RASFF) has issued various notifications about pesticide residues on horticultural products, specifically in Greek cucumbers, eggplants and peppers Malaysian Cambodians.

Greek cucumbers containing traces of methamidophos, with an analytical result of 0.099 mg / kg - ppm, have been distributed in Germany, but estimates are that they have already disappeared from supermarkets.

Malaysian eggplants contained remains of omethoate, in an amount of 0.23 mg / kg - ppm, according to the corresponding analysis. They were distributed in Belgium.

Meanwhile, Cambodian peppers had residues of profenofos, 0.662 mg / kg - ppm, and were distributed in Italy.
