Currently the last details are being finalized for the construction of 40 1ha Protea farms in Tunisia. The project is a result of a partnership between the international flower company Pollack Group and the Tunesian consulting group Kartajen International.The plantation will be done in October of 2013 with production beginning in 2014. The project is inserted into a program of agricultural development in Tunisia, between Kartajen International and APIA - Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency, creating 40 small projects of 1ha for young graduates to start their own business. This project is intended to develop agriculture and provide an incentive to other projects.
