"We have made a large logical step by enabling a lot of the assembly work to be done automatically," says René de Koning of PDI. "The largest benefit for the customer is that they can have their screen replaced without bother. We can replace the screen bar by bar. The old screen goes out and the new one goes on immediately. It's fixed on immediately, so it can keep on screening. Because it's done automatically the customer is guaranteed a 'straight' cloth. The screen will no longer move up diagonally in the boxes. This makes the screen parquet much smaller and neater, which results in light profit."
