US: Wholesum Harvest plants in new Ultra Clima greenhouse

In September of this year Wholesum Harvest has planted the first batch of tomatoes in the new Ultra Clima greenhouse in Arizona. Harvest is expected to hit stores coming winter. According to Adrian Crisantes, Ultra Clima was the logical choice. Preliminary results in Mexico were so promising that the decision to build a similar greenhouse in the US was an easy one.

The key features of the new greenhouse include permanent overpressure to keep out harmful insects and an indoor climate that is kept equable during the extremely hot summer months. Tomato production in the winter is also significantly higher as a result of the high level of light in the Ultra Clima® greenhouse.

The project is a cooperation between Crisantes and KUBO, and so far the collaboration has proved to be fruitful.
