Netherlands: Havecon builds 8.8 ha. new greenhouse for Looije Tomatoes

Late last month, the starting signal was given for the construction and realization of the second phase of Looije Tomatoes Rijsenhout. It is a greenhouse of 88,261 m2 in which the now familiar 'Honey Tomatoes’ will be grown. Havecon Greenhouses has been awarded the contract for this distinct project. Companies Looije and Havecon have been partners for years and consider their mutual history as a solid base for bringing the project to a successful conclusion.

The proposed construction is equipped with diffused glass with double-sided AR treatment, insect netting in the vents, state-of-the-art lighting and when finished will undertake cultivation according to the 'closed greenhouse' principle.
