Wednesday the 3rd of June, Cranbourne, Victoria:

Australia: Learn to operate a Priva computer in just 1 day

Powerplants Australia are partnering with Chisholm Institute of TAFE to deliver technology training at Chisholm’s National Precision Growing Centre, in Cranbourne, Victoria Australia.

The concept behind the partnership is for the industry to be able to access quality training that is delivered in a technology rich centre, using the latest software, and that is also delivered by industry specialists.

Powerplants endorsed Priva trainer, Tony Bundock, will be commencing the program by running an Introduction to Computerised Climate management course on Wednesday the 3rd of June. The course will allow participants to understand how a modern climate control system operates, as well as having the ‘hands on’ experience of using a PC linked to the Priva Integro/Connext program.

‘There will be a number of training programs running in the next few months that will be catering for all skill levels. We will also be looking at providing training for growers using the Maximizer system as well’ said Powerplant’s Tony Bundock.

‘We are also planning to take the training programs ‘on the road’ so that we can cater for grower training across all states of Australia’, said Tony.

The courses run at Chisholm will have the added benefit for growers of being able to access and analyse live data from the Institute’s greenhouse crop growing area, as well as observing live responses to climate settings and crop growing practices at the same time.

For further details of the forthcoming course, and further training both on or off campus, please contact Tony via email [email protected]
