CAN (BC): British Columbia Grower Summit scheduled for April 30, 2024 in Langley, BC

The ACT Group, a collaboration of Grodan, Philips Horticulture LED Solutions, Priva, and Svensson, will host an ACT (Advancing Cultivation Technology) Grower Summit in Langley, British Columbia (BC), on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

This free educational program will give BC growers the opportunity to learn of the latest research and technology applications to help enhance greenhouse efficiency and drive cost-effectiveness. Local greenhouse growers and greenhouse operations teams are invited to attend the free half-day program that will focus on Greenhouse Efficiency Summit: Plant Health, Crop Diversity, and Energy Optimization Strategies.

The program will begin at 12:15 PM and will include guest speaker Tanya Perewernycky, Marketing Alliances Program Delivery Specialist for BC Hydro. Perewernycky will share information to help growers identify opportunities for implementing energy-saving systems and the BC Hydro programs to support energy efficiency.

The summit will also include a panel discussion, Maximizing Yields and Profits through Crop Diversification. Specialists from each of the four ACT companies will have a lively and interactive discussion intended to equip growers with knowledge for those considering expanding their crop offering and/or growers simply wanting to learn new ways to use advanced technology to optimize their existing environment.

The BC Grower Summit will be held at the Langley Golf & Banquet Center. A complimentary lunch buffet will be available beginning at 11:30 AM. The grower summit will be followed by a complimentary happy hour at 5:00 PM, where guests can enjoy complimentary beverages, cocktails, and appetizers courtesy of the ACT group.

Seating is limited. All attendees must register, and registration closes on Friday, April 19. Click here to register.
