At HortiContact, a notably high number of new products were launched. Heecon was one of the companies participating in the wave of launches during the expo. Bart Verhoeven on their Sweeper: "The Heecon Sweeper is a sweeping machine specifically designed to clean the dirt under the tube rail. It also sweeps around the supports effectively."
In the crop residues in the greenhouse, bacteria will accumulate rapidly. During cultivation, but also especially during crop rotation, crop remnants will easily pile up under the tube rail. This means that diseases can spread quickly. The necessity of a clean greenhouse is clear. It demands a lot from the personnel to do it neatly and quickly. It is physically demanding work.
