"Netherlands: "Easter rush is over now"

In the flower trade, the preparations for Easter are done. The products are in the shelfs and growers, who offered their easter products last week, had difficulties with selling them. "The Easter rush is over. Actually, the rush was already over last Tueseday." This is explained by Ruud van Emmerik, a personal seller at FloraHolland.

Narcis
"In my opinion, the narcis is doing well this Easter" he continues. "The prices were low for the narcis bulbs in the preseason. However, over the last weeks, as the demand increased, the prices did too."

Spring
All Easter products are in the shelfs now. "After Easter, the weather will probably improve. Therefore, we will see a transition from indoor plants to bedding plants."
