Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility:

From pipe rail to concrete pathway without stepping off

After extensive testing, the first ten units of the Control Lift 3000 have been delivered. The Control Lift is able to drive over the concrete pathway and on the pipe rail in order to, among other things, easily check the crop. That is also the exceptional feature of this trolley. Without leaving the platform, this trolley can drive via the concrete pathway from one tube to the other.

The trolley smoothly moves from one surface to the other. Leon Verkoelen, Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility: "There is a great demand for this feature. The special feature is that it can be driven very easily. Without any explanation anyone can use it. Even without requiring an extra action when one would like to go upwards with the platform. This product also complies with the Berkvens principles, keep it simple and does not include things that you do not need."

Vandal proof
Erwin Berkvens, owner of Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility, received the request from the market for this kind of trolley. The development process took time. Leon: "Also the Control Lift 3000 has to comply with the vision of Berkvens. That requires extra time in the development process. We make all our vehicles as mechanically and with as few electronics as possible. That results in a robust quality that is easy to operate. We attach great value to that. Our customers qualify our products as 'vandal proof', and we want to achieve this every time."

Leon has high expectations for the demand for the Control Lift 3000. But before going in full production, the first ten are monitored closely. Besides, little or no start-up problems are expected. Leon: "After all, so many tests have already been carried out."

The Control Lift can be seen during the Greentech at the Berkvens Greenhouse Mobility stand 12.810.
