Over the last years, the Turkish greenhouse industry has had its struggles. With the Russian import ban going on and off, the position for growers isn't as secure as it used to be. Therefore the investments in the Turkish market aren't as high as suppliers expected them to be a couple of years ago, when the Turkish-Russian relationship was better.
Even though the Turkish investment climate is low, the GrowTech Antalya still has a very vivid atmosphere. Thanks to the surrounding countries and the gateway the GrowTech offers to these countries, the exhibition is an important hub for the international horticultural industry.
