Canada: Orangeline Farms introduces year round greenhouse grown runner beans

Zing! Healthy Foods "Amazing European Runner Beans" are twice the length and size of a typical green bean, which, according to the company, means double the flavour and double the benefits. Zing! Healthy Foods were first to re-introduce these beans to North America in 2013 and are ready to ship their latest crop.

"Foodies can delight in these beans since they're so versatile," says Jordan Kniaziew VP, Sales and Marketing for Zing! Healthy Foods, "they always have a dedicated spot on my BBQ, and I cook them like I would asparagus. A coating of olive oil, lightly seasoned and dusted with some freshly grated parmesan."

The demand for these beans has been at an all-time high, so Zing! Healthy Foods made sure they're virtually available year round. "You could literally watch the stalks grow, in a short 4 week span they have grown well over 12' high; every day I'm amazed when I check the crop. Our team is excited to get these to market and in homes while continuing the momentum we've had in North America,'' says Jordan.
