UK: Branson tractor makes its debut at Fruit Focus
Fruit growers visiting Fruit Focus on July 20 will have the first opportunity to see the new Branson FR “00” compact tractor specifically modified for fruit production.
The Branson FR ”00” tractor will be on display on the Branson Tractors UK stand number 353. This is the ideal machine for all soft and top fruits, stone fruits, bushes and vines.
Having a working width of only 997 mm they are narrow enough to travel between rows of tabletop strawberries for mowing and spraying work. An upper fender height of 930mm and a foldable mid-ROPS frame it will work comfortably in polytunnels and a front axle 45º turn angle, 4-wheel drive and power steering gives excellent manoeuvrability in confined spaces. Depending on the model the quiet 3-cylinder 1175cc diesel engine produces 21-30hp with easy access for all maintenance and 250 hour service intervals.
With a starting price of well below £10,000 it is competively priced.
