New system for growing algae

PB Techniek supplies electro- and water technology solutions for the international horticulture industry. This week during the GreenTech they will showcase a new system for growing algae.

What is your contribution to the advancement of the global horticulture industry? 
We assist our global customers by providing innovative solutions for electrical systems, including lighting, as well as water cleaning and distribution systems. We have been involved in the creation of many remarkable horticultural projects around the world.

What would you say is the most important topic in horticulture right now? 
There is a lot of focus on creating effective and sustainable expansion in areas near the customers. 

What will you be showcasing at GreenTech? Will you be presenting any new products during the trade show? 
We will be showcasing various innovative solutions for lighting and IT systems. We will also be exhibiting a new system for growing algae, as well as a state-of-the-art UV-based water cleaning system with band filter.



Which current project are you most proud of? 
We are extremely proud of the Aurora Sky custom 7.5 Ha medical culture growth facility in Edmonton, Canada.

How do you see the future of horticulture? 
We are expecting to see an explosive growth of controlled environments (climate controlled, low water usage, high yield growth) in various cultivations across the globe.
