As of February 1 2018, LightShine Cleaning will be moving. The Westland company which provides maintenance in horticultural lighting and reflectors among others, will be closing the doors of their old location (400 m2) in Kwintsheul for the last time and moving into a larger building (1000 m2) on Vlotlaan in Monster.
LightShine will be gaining 600 m2 with their new location.
Lightshine Cleaning is involved in many activities. Besides the maintenance and cleaning of lighting and bins for tomato and cucumber growers, supermarket chain trolleys are also maintained. In 2017, the NS-train bins were freshened up.
The company was also busy in Brussels last year. At the end of 2017 the luggage trolleys at Brussels airport were cleaned for the first time. This will be done four times a year. The job involves fixing all airport trolleys if they are defective. Schiphol is to follow in 2018.

Due to the move to Monster there is more room to store materials. It also offers opportunities for growth. "We can now work on used fitting." LightShine buys the light trays to sell them once they've been restored. "In our former situation we were unable to do this due to lack of space," says director Marcel van den Bogert.
The family company was founded in 2009. There are now more hands at work. 15 in the summer, and in the winter months there is work for 5 people.
Are there more plans? "We're working on organic machines. They will be built in 2018."
