Specific substrates
Vigorplant is able to provide professional operators with a wide range of substrates made of either single or a mix of materials.
Tomato crop (Ragusa) on a Vigorplant substrate.
Coconut-based products: Vigorplant agronomists have selected various types of coconut for a variety of applications including sowing, cutting, vase and soil-less cultivation (floating system or NFT).
Strawberries (Trento) on a Vigorplant substrate.
Coconut can be used either alone or in a mix with peat and/or perlite and it is ideal for all flowers, vegetables and fruits, if treated correctly.

FYBERAL-based products: Fyberal is a raw material produced by Vigorplant from conifer wood-chips with a special extrusion process. The material is extremely porous and similar to peat moss, but it retains less water, so it is ideal for soil-less cultivation.

Peat-based produces: ideal for short-cycle (less than 12 months) cultivation and easy to use also by beginners.
Basil (Cuneo) in NFT.
Of course, their performance and stability can be enhanced by mixing them with inert raw material, coconut or Fyberal.
X-Plug clods.
Vigorplant can also produce clods ideal for leaf vegetables (basil, salad, chicory) and that remain intact during the whole cycle thanks to the NFT.
