Nearly EUR 600,000 have been disbursed to 5 farms for orchards and greenhouses in Ukraine

As part of the government's grant support program for small and medium-sized businesses, eRobota, 24.7 million hryvnias (EUR 580,695) have been allocated to 5 agricultural enterprises. The funds will be directed towards the development of orcharding, berry farming, viticulture, and greenhouse farming.

Since the beginning of 2024, a total of 41.4 million hryvnias (EUR 973,310) have already been paid out to 11 producers. Of this amount, 21.4 million hryvnias (EUR 503,112) have been allocated to orchards for 6 farms, while another 20 million hryvnias (EUR 470,198) have been provided to 5 farms for greenhouses.

Since the program's inception, a total of EUR 17547789 have been disbursed to 168 business entities. Specifically, EUR 13130279 have been received by 132 farms for the development of orcharding, berry farming, and viticulture, while EUR 4417510 have been distributed to 36 enterprises for greenhouses.

In 2023, 127 orders were issued for grants to support orcharding, berry farming, viticulture (EUR 9954092), and greenhouse farming (EUR 3747478). According to these orders, approximately 15,000 jobs are expected to be created.

Funding for agronomists under the government's eRobota program for 2024-2025 is made possible through the support of the World Bank under the Emergency Inclusive Support Project for the Recovery of Ukraine's Agriculture (ARISE).
