Cocopeat substrate producer Biogrow Subsrates has a new account manager Andréa Gayet. Originally from Sarthe in central France, she will take care of the French and Swiss markets. Andréa explains that she is quite familiar with the agricultural and commercial sectors: "Being the daughter of an apple producer, I have always been attracted to the agricultural sector. It is a very interesting sector to study as it has multiple facets and offers great professional opportunities. That's why I started with a horticulture technician diploma after high school. Later, I went to the Ecole supérieure des agricultures (agricultural school) in Angers, where I obtained a master's degree in Agribusiness. At Angers, I also completed training in commerce and management. Throughout my studies, I had various internships in different structures in the agricultural sector. Eventually, I began my professional career as a fruit and vegetable salesperson at Saint Charles."

When asked why she joined Biogrow Substrates, she says: "First of all, I like to work with a renewable product as it corresponds to current and global issues. It's very important to me that my work is in line with my personal values. Moreover, Bio Grow is a developing and dynamic company that is always open to new projects. Finally, this position allows me to have a good balance between technology and business, the two areas in which I want to perform."
