Kilija community in Ukraine invites investors for a modern greenhouse complex

Vegetable cultivation affected by the occupation of the left bank of the Dnipro River, the explosion of the Kakhovska Hydroelectric Station, and mined fields in the liberated territory of Kherson Oblast, has witnessed a shift into Odesa. In a bid to attract investors, the Kilija Municipal Territorial Community, in partnership with the Odessa Regional Development Agency, digitally showcased its investment proposal for a "Greenhouse Farm" on the ProUkraine.

This initiative is highlighted in the report on the implementation of the Kilija City Council's decision approving the Socio-Economic Development Plan for the Kilija Municipal Territorial Community of the Izmail District in Odesa Oblast for 2023. The report, released in early February on the community's website, focuses on creating a modern greenhouse complex within the Kilija community, utilizing advanced technologies for efficient vegetable production in controlled environments.

The document outlines the renewal and creation of Greenfield-type investment site profiles throughout 2023, covering land parcels between Kilija-Shevchenkove and the village of Chervony Yar (outside the populated area). To facilitate the creation of the Odesa Oblast Investment Passport, the Kilija City Council's executive committee has forwarded these profiles to the Odesa Regional Administration. The proposal aims to foster effective production operations and contribute to the economic development of the region.
