Terramera receives regulatory approval for new biological pesticide

Terramera has announced the regulatory approval of our newest biological pesticide in Mexico by COFEPRIS, the national regulatory body. TRIFECTO®, a new biological pesticide, provides insect, mite, and disease management in a single application for both organic and conventional growers in Mexico.

TRIFECTO is a powerful new tool for producers of avocados, berries, cucurbits, tomatoes, peppers, and leafy vegetables. TRIFECTO contains 70% cold-pressed neem oil loaded onto a proprietary inert chassis that improves in-tank stability. The cold press process preserves the integrity of an extensive profile of over 150 bioactives designed to fight both insects and diseases. TRIFECTO is labeled for use as a standalone, a tank mix partner, or in a program rotation and is an ideal choice for growers concerned with pest resistance.

“Regulatory approval for TRIFECTO in Mexico is a key milestone in bringing this new crop protection product to market,” said Matthew Dahabieh, SVP and Head of Green Chemistry Solutions. “We look forward to adding TRIFECTO to our propriety biopesticide portfolio and building on the great results seen in the United States by using RANGO® in specialty crops and SOCORO® in soybean, corn, and row crops.
