Cucumber grafting trial by Grow Group:

Does way of grafting effect growth of cucumber shoots?

Earlier this month, Grow Group opened its doors for customers and involved seed companies to assess the results of a trial in the cultivation of grafted cucumbers.

The test compared different ways of grafting cucumbers involving 10 different breeds, in order to assess whether grafting has an effect on the growth of the shoots. Due to the variability in growth vigor of different varieties and the related effects on the growth of the shoots, the test yields valuable information about how the different varieties react to the various treatments.

Grow Group has shared the results with its customers and the seed companies to apply the knowledge gained in the cultivation of the cucumber plants. The well-attended presentation was met with great enthusiasm. Several growers and seed companies were present at the presentation and made for interesting discussions.
