Zwirs-Knijnenburg and Zwirs Worldwide files for bankruptcy

Dutch greenhouse constructor Zwirs-Knijnenburg has filed for bankruptcy. On Thursday morning, local time, the Dutch personal of Zwirs was informed about the situation. The company has confirmed the bankruptcy for both parts of the company ; Zwirs-Knijnenburg and Zwirs Worldwide. At this moment there is no further information available about a possible restart for the company.

Zwirs was a family company that entered the industry in 1968. The company is specialized in the building and maintenance of greenhouses in national and international projects, with a focus on Venlo and wide span greenhouses. Next to this, the company is also known as a greenhouse demolition company with many expertise.
