US (WV): Gritt’s Midway Greenhouse implements water plan

West Virginia greenhouse grower, Gritt's Midway, ensured that water was safe when the region dealt with a water contamination crisis. The greenhouse provides tomatoes and lettuce to area schools and was able to ensure the safety of their crop with a greenhouse water safety plan.

A Priva user, Gritt's Midway Greenhouse recently had to deal with a regional water issue as contaminated water was reported in their region.

The greenhouse utilized reserved water and had independent tests to ensure irrigation water was safe for use in their facilities, which grows tomatoes, lettuce and flowers, and works cohesively with area schools in a Farm to Table program.
