The system is suitable for all kind of greenhouses, but it is easier to use it in those where the work is done with electric trolleys. In the Netherlands, 100% of the greenhouses use electric trolleys.
In this way, it is possible to assemble the weight balance to the trolley and adjust it to the weight of the Tom-System, around one kilo. Then the work it is very easy, as the worker just has to place the tool close to the twine and pull the trigger.
The system is suitable for tomato, sweet pepper and eggplant crops and allows reducing the labour cost of clipping in 40%.
