400 runners at the start of Leo Ammerlaan Greenhouse Run

Last Saturday the annual Leo Ammerlaan Greenhouse Run took place at the nursery greenhouse of Leo Ammerlaan in Bleiswijk, The Netherlands. Amongst the runners were teams from Grodan, AgroEnergy, Royal Brinkman and more horticultural suppliers. More then 200 runners participated in the 5 kilometre run and another 200 runners showed up at the start of the 10 kilometre. Also our colleague editor Arlette Sijmonsma of Groentennieuws.nl gave all she had and almost won the race....

Just like last year, runner Michael Woerden won the race with a time of 36 minutes.

The fastest lady of the day; Marloes Nuijten
