Belgium grower in soccer spirit

The Belgium company Den Berk Délice normally is devoted exclusively to the cultivation, marketing and innovation of delicious tomatoes. These days though, they're devoted to soccer as well.

The Belgians are proud
"We have designed several containers especially for the World Tournament. We created three different containers for Germany and we have designed two for the Belgian market. This promotion is yielding very good results and I expect it to improve if we extend our participation in the World Cup. Let's hope we are there until 15 July, the day of the final!"

Besides the promotional packaging, you can feel it in the atmosphere that the World Cup is already underway. "Last Monday, Belgium played its first match at 5 o'clock in the afternoon, so we left early to see it. We have even changed our logo temporarily, because the Belgians are known as the Red Devils. We are proud to be Belgian, yes."

It is the 13th time that Belgium takes part in the World Cup. Last Monday, it won the first game against Panama. This Saturday, they ran over Tunisia and crushed them with 5-2. Next in line is the UK, who they'll play next Thursday.

In the meanwhile Den Berk Delice can continue with their special soccer tomatoes for sure. Thanks to the past victories, the Belgium team can be sure of participation in the next round already. For the German team this remains insecure until the next match day, Wednesday.
