US (OH): David Cervantes announced as Smithers-Oasis' territory sales manager Spain and Portugal
In the position, Cervantes plans to develop new markets in Spain and Portugal, cultivate distributors and provide customer technical support. Prior to joining Smithers-Oasis Company, Cervantes was employed at Semilleros Vicaplant in Almeria, Spain.
“The appointment of David Cervantes is part of our strategic growth plan to significantly increase Smithers-Oasis’ brand Oasis Grower Solutions’ sales through a channel-focused effort,” said Bill Riffey, general manager, grower operations, Americas, Europe and Africa.
Cervantes earned his bachelor’s degree in environmental science from the University of Almería and his MBA in renewable energies, fuel cells and hydrogen from the International University of Menendez Pelayo, Madrid, Spain.
Cervantes resides in Almeria, Spain.
