Bell pepper farm Fa. Duijnisveld:

“The price/quality ratio was the deciding factor”

One of the latest construction projects in which Royal Brinkman was involved is the new 9.2 hectare greenhouse for pepper grower Fa. Duijnisveld in De Kwakel, The Netherlands. This company was founded in 2006. In 2016, Fa. Duijnisveld was asked if they could supply more Sapporo peppers because of the increasing demand from England. They found a site where the construction project of 9.2 hectare new greenhouse started in 2017.

Good price/quality ratio
The cousins Ruud and Leo Duijnisveld, owners of Fa. Duijnisveld, chose to have the water and electrical engineering carried out from A to Z by Royal Brinkman. The main reason for choosing Royal Brinkman was the good price/quality ratio: "The reputation of the Royal Brinkman installations was familiar and the good price/quality ratio was decisive". In this video Ruud Duijnisveld and Royal Brinkman’s Technical Account Manager Ben Peters tell more about the project.

A good start
Ruud tells us that there was plenty of time to carry out the new building works. "We had a dry period from the end of April and were able to get off to a good start with all the construction work. At the start of the first irrigation, Royal Brinkman's technicians were there to start the technology. Everything was running smoothly and we had a good start.

Ruud looks back on a successful start of the new nursery: "We are now ready for challenges in the future and we comply with contemporary legislation and environmental regulations as well as the high demands of our customers the English and Japanese supermarkets”.
