NL: BIO Kwekerij Frank de Koning puts fourth organic production site into operation

After a transformation period of six months, in which the necessary building works took place and the soil received plenty of attention, on Monday, April 23 the new site was put into operation. At the fourth location of Kwekerij F.J.J. de Koning BV, the Netherlands’ largest Demeter nursery for fruit vegetable crops in greenhouses, the first cucumbers and peppers were planted.

With the start of cultivation at this location, the acreage increases to more than 11.5 hectares of biodynamic certified production of tomatoes, peppers, pointed peppers, eggplants and cucumbers.

Frank is pleased with the expansion and in this way hopes to fulfil the ever-growing demand for his products in which taste experience and quality provides a stable foundation for his business.
