T.C. vd Dool lifts 6 hectare of old greenhouse in The Netherlands:

Need a higher greenhouse? Consider lifting your current structure!

Currently T. C. van den Dool is working overtime to raise an existing greenhouse at tomato grower Van Adrichem in Steenbergen, The Netherlands. The greenhouse has an acreage of 6 ha. Because the grower is looking to start producing year round and supplemental lighting fixtures need to be placed, the entire structure needs to be lifted.

The height is increased by 1.65m to 6m, using pneumatics. Van den Dool is employing 20 men to do the job. Said Laari of T.C. Van den Dool: "I expect the job to take up a little over 4 weeks. We should be able to finish by that time.” The electricity for lighting is already laid by Stolze from Maasdijk. Agrolux will supply the lamps.

Said Laari, TC van den Dool.

Screening by Ludvig Svensson has been installed by Steetec.

The new pillars are placed into position.

And the old windows are placed back.
