Turkey: Protected Agriculture Vegetable Production
In a recent article, data was presented for greenhouse vegetable production in Turkey for 2017. An interesting comparison can be made with the changes in production over the last 3 years. The following chart takes the 2017 figures in the earlier article and compares it to published 2014 data:

Pepper production in Turkey has more than doubled over this period, while tomato production has almost doubled.
Since the release of the January 2018 World Greenhouse Vegetable Statistics publication, many other new data tables have become available. Examples include: Canadian Greenhouse Vegetable Trade balance – 2012-2016; Australia - Trends in Greenhouse Vegetable production - 2008-2016; New Zealand greenhouse vegetable area; Finland updates - 2014-2016; Mediterranean area countries - area, structure types, production methods; USA - Greenhouse Vegetable area and number of farms; and global greenhouse glass vs. plastic statistics.
This first quarter update is now available on request and at no charge to those that have the January 2018 publication in their library.
