Russia: 20-hectare greenhouse complex opens at the end of 2019

JSC Greenhouse complex Belogorskiy will be growing tomatoes on an acreage of 20 ha, with an expected productivity of 100 kilos per square meter.

During his working visit, minister of agriculture of the Republic of Crimea, Andrey Ryumshin mentioned that “the greenhouse is constructed in the context of an investment project. The terms of completion is November 2019. A 20 ha greenhouse will be constructed with the newest technologies in heating, drip irrigation, lighting etc. In addition, there will be automated microclimate and mineral nutrition management systems. The greenhouse will grow tomatoes. Construction started in January 2018. The greenhouse complex will create 400 jobs”.

The cost of the project is estimated at 55.3 million euros.
