Mediane introduces mobile app
In recent years, Mediane has invested not only in machines and technology, but also in software to make ordering and the tracking of orders as simple and transparent as possible.
All current designs and products are located in the 'customer environment' of the shopper and each buyer can log in with a personal Username and Password. "Our customers are ordering more and more online," says Mike Leistikow. At Mediane Mike is also responsible for Planning and Logistics. An order that is booked through the system is automatically and immediately entered into the planning and is issued as a work order for the machine operators. "Of course, all data are fully protected."
"Our customers can follow the status of orders by logging into their customer environment. Also the approval of designs follows the same system and immediately after we have loaded the truck and it is on the way to the customer, a Delivery Notice is automatically sent to the buyer by email and by SMS / WhatsApp".
This is no different for the approval process. The customer, advertising agency or studio is invited in the 'Approval System' and then can approve, comment or reject. "This is immediately followed up online by our repro. A release via the system means that the production of printing plates is started immediately," according to Mike.
"Our aim is to make these forms of service self-evident and as convenient as possible for the customer. This month, we are introducing a Mediane mobile app for our existing customer base. This app can be downloaded from the App-store. All mentioned functions can be easily executed and monitored via the mobile app. All relevant information such as order history, invoices, packing lists and designs can be accessed via the mobile app."
