Never mind the Olympics, cucumber sorting your game

Last Saturday the fastest and best cucumber sorters competed in Nootdorp for the Dutch Championship Cucumber Sorting.. The tradition has been the highlight of the fair week in the South Holland city for 55 years.



Contestants had to estimate the weight of the cucumbers as accurately as possible. The Dutch Championship cucumber sorting was held for the first time in 1963 in the greenhouse of grower Cor Meeuwisse.
