Spain: CASI reelects its president for four more years

The members of the Cooperativa Agrícola San Isidro (CASI) have again elected Miguel Vargas González as president for the organization for four more years.

The cooperative's assembly started at 7 pm on 20 July and lasted until 3 am of the following day. At the end of it, Miguel Vargas obtained 309 votes, Ana Isabel Martín Papis 202, Pepa Miras 76 and Juan Cabeo 28.

Vargas will be the first president of the cooperative to have a fixed salary of 3,000 Euro, the lowest of all the figures proposed.

In the course of the assembly, Miguel Vargas gave an account of the achievements made since he became president, focusing on the commercial aspects, as well as on the training of partners and employees.
