Netherlands: Drone films first steel at Royal Peppers

At Royal Peppers in Waddinxveen (the Netherlands) the first steel trellis has been erected. In just a couple months the first peppers will be grown in this greenhouse. At the moment only the foundation has been constructed. The entire infrastructure has to be created since this is an entirely new location. A good time to send in the drone. This is the first time that the drone has filmed this stage of construction. By following the outlines of the foundation, a good impression can be made about the size of the project.

The distance between this project and the Havecon office is only 5 km. In early August the steel construction will be finished so that the glazing crews can start.

The first trellis is installed, the second one is hoisted into position

The first section is complete after the cross braces have been installed

And this is the view at eye level

The loading site is stacked with trellises and columns. Next month it will be glass crates as far as the eye can see.
