Pre-Empt is an OMRI-listed organic fertilizer available from Hort Americas that can completely replace conventional hydroponic fertilizers. It was developed for recirculating nutrient film technique (NFT) crops including lettuce, basil and other leafy greens and herbs. It is an adequate hydroponic nutrient product for nearly all crops without having to incorporate any additives.

Pre-Empt goes through a five stage fermentation process that incorporates molasses with other plant extracts. This process loads Pre-Empt with essential macronutrients, micronutrients, amino acids, including humic acid and fulvic acid, as well as numerous vitamins.

Using Pre-Empt eliminates the need to apply a calcium/magnesium product or calcium nitrate. Pre-Empt contains over 0.5 percent calcium along with magnesium, manganese, iron, sulfur and other important electrolytes, amino acids and vitamins.
