Growing demand for OMRI listed coco substrate

In response to the growing market for certified organic produce, Browncoir is pleased to announce that its grow bags and substrates have been reviewed by OMRI for use in compliance with the USDA's National Organic Program standards.

"Over the last couple of years we have expanded our presence in North America, which is now one of our fastest growing markets", said Thushara Wijayasingha, Director of Business Development, at Browngrow. "Therefore obtaining an OMRI Certification is an important next step to build our brand and trust among both conventional and organic growers."

The OMRI listing applies to all of Browncoir's BrownGrow Silver, Bronze, Gold, Platinum, and Diamond branded grow bags.

Wijayasingha said that growers have experienced good results since the introduction of their products. "We have received good feedback from our customers, who like the consistency of our product. Nonetheless, our Research and Development team is working very hard to add more value into our products and increase crop results".

Tomato and capsicums are the main crops grown by Browncoir's customers. Next to this the manufacturer said that they are also increasing their market share among cucumber and strawberry crops. "And our sales team is now moving toward flower crops too."

Chamila Lopez, CEO of Browncoir.

Browngrow's substrates are available in Canada, the United States, Mexico and Latin America through their exclusive distribution partner Excalibur Plastics. "Growers are invited to contact them directly. They have good offers available this season," Wijayasingha said.
