Huge expansion for Dutch bell pepper grower

A Dutch bell pepper nursery has bought a lot of 54 hectares in the Glasparel Zuidplaspolder area. The company currently cultivates on 30 hectares, and will start planting the new plot in stages. Construction will start this spring.

Patrick and Peter van den Bosch, owners of Royal Peppers, are currently growing at four locations, and partially under lights. The company from Waddinxveen will be the fifth and largest location. “We can realise our company for the future in Glasparel Zuidplaspolder; we can produce our bell peppers sustainably, organically and safely here, We are looking forward to the future with our team, and to the coming of our new cultivation location.”
