The exhibition, which will be held from March 15 to March 17 at the BITEC International Exhibition Centre in Bangkok, will showcase a variety of solutions providers that offer technology and starting materials to tackle food production problems in Asian climates.
One of such solutions is the Hygroscopic Adiabatic Cooling (HACo) technology from Van der Hoeven. The Dutch greenhouse builder has developed HACo to make it possible to grow in a semi-closed greenhouse in a tropical climate. The energy saving technology enables to treat warm and humid air outside in this way that it can be used inside the controlled growing environment. This means that the controlled semi-closed greenhouse system can be installed in nearly any climate, despite the fact of high outside humidity levels and temperatures.
Van der Hoeven will be showcasing the HACo technology and its semi closed greenhouse systems at the upcoming Horti Asia at booth E9.
Besides Van der Hoeven, a growing number of other exhibitors is added to the exhibitors list. As well as this an extensive seminar and conference program is currently taking shape. Some international government-based and horticulture associations which have already confirmed to be a part of the exhibition are Horticulture Science Society of Thailand, Foundation of Agriculture Technology Commercialization and Transfer from Korea, Embassy of The Netherlands, German Agriculture Association and AGRAGEX from Spain. Also, participants will witness German Showcase under DLG special zone, which will present the latest innovation and technology to increase yields in horticulture production processes for fruit, flower, and vegetable in the Asia-Pacific region.
