Horti Asia and Agritechnica coming to Bangkok March 2017

Asia is a key link in the global food chain, accounting for 19% of total global food and agricultural exports and 31% of total food and agricultural imports. Asia’s large and growing population, coupled with rising incomes and a flourishing middle class, will continue to drive demand for food and agricultural commodities and resources.

According to a Rabobank report, Asian agribusiness and food & agriculture companies are likely to grow in size and scope to meet increasing demand, satisfy national policies, improve organizational capabilities, and promote integration and consolidation all along the value and supply chains.

Hence it might be a good opportunity to check out the new Agritechnica Asia. Two leading exhibition organizers, DLG (German Agricultural Society), organizer of AGRITECHNICA in Hanover, Germany, and VNU Exhibitions, Dutch-Thai exhibition organizer of VIV Asia in Bangkok, have announced a joint-venture agreement to launch this new exhibition with its premiere scheduled for 15 – 17 March 2017 in Bangkok, Thailand.
