Israeli basil greenhouse project expands

The combination of the climate of the renown Jordan Valley and unique technology and growing methodology has resulted in a unique aromatic fresh cut basil with remarkable shelf-life, according to Tzahi Mordechai from Genesis Premium Herbs.

"We are now two years underway in our project and we accomplished all with the lowest use of pesticides on the market." In the past two years the company have successfully exported produce to customers across Europe and North America. "We offer a variety of product options from 20 gram bags to loose 1kg and 3kg boxes."

Genesis Premium Herbs marketed the basil all year round to premium buyers in Europe and North America. "Encouraged by the positive feedback from the market, we have begun expanding our growing and production capacities through the implementation of new and enhanced technologies and growing methods."

New project
"Chive is our up and coming project, which will integrate our unique, fully automated, growing methods with our brand-new innovative technology that allows for a fully automated harvesting, sorting and packing line."
